nashifi is a local-first iOS music player. This policy explains how we treat your data when you use the nashifi app and visit nashifi.com. The short version: your music stays on your NAS, not with us.

1. What we do not collect

Your music library, play history, or listening habits
Your NAS credentials — they are stored only on your iPhone (in the system Keychain)
In-app behavior tracking for advertising purposes
We never sell, rent, or share any user data with third-party advertisers

2. The limited data we process

Crash reports (optional): used to fix stability issues. They contain no music content or personally identifiable information, and can be turned off in system settings
Purchase records: handled by the App Store. We never see your payment information
Contact emails: messages you send to hello@nashifi.com, used only to respond to you

3. Local data storage

Login credentials, playback queues, and cached audio files (offline feature) are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes this data along with it.

4. The website

nashifi.com is a fully static website. It uses no tracking cookies and embeds no third-party analytics scripts. Your theme and language preferences are stored only in your browser's localStorage and are never sent to any server.

5. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and note the date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
